Empty Arms was founded in response to the tragic loss of my brother Dwayne to gun violence on February 14, 2023. We resolved to spare others from enduring the same profound sense of loss and emptiness.

Our vision for Empty Arms is to raise awareness of the devastating impact of gun violence on our communities, particularly the loss of loved ones. We are dedicated to empowering youth to broaden their horizons and pursue opportunities beyond their immediate surroundings. Moreover, we aim to establish a supportive environment where families can gather to commemorate their loved ones and facilitate the healing process.
